Welcome to Orphia, owned and operated by Space Sweater, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it by complying with this policy.

Orphia is an app that provides an illustrated daily horoscope for entertainment purposes. By using Orphia, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use Orphia.

2. Age Requirement

Orphia is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). If you are under 13, or do not meet the minimum age requirement under your local laws, please do not use the app. If we discover we have collected personal information from anyone under the applicable minimum age without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information.

3. Information We Collect

(a) Personal Data You Provide
We collect information you provide when you use Orphia, such as:

• Your birth date, location, personal preferences, and personality-related information.
• Photos you upload (potentially including your likeness).
• If you create an account (optional), your email address, user ID, and login credentials (via Apple, Google, or email).

(b) Automatically Collected Data
We may collect certain information automatically to help us understand how the app is being used and to maintain functionality, such as:

• Device information (e.g., device model, operating system version).
• Analytics data regarding app usage (e.g., session length, screens visited, aggregated or de-identified data like zodiac sign).
• Error reports to help us diagnose problems and improve Orphia.

(c) Local Data Storage
By default, certain sensitive information (such as birth date, location, and personality traits) remains stored locally on your device. We do not permanently store this information on our servers, except transiently when it is transmitted to generate your personalized AI image (see Section 7 below).

4. How We Use Your Information

• To create an illustrated horoscope using a third-party AI service.
• To provide and personalize our services (e.g., storing your preferences, offering daily readings).
• To authenticate and maintain your account (if you choose to create one).
• For analytics and improvements to Orphia’s features and user experience.

5. Account Creation

Creating an account is optional. If you create an account using Apple, Google, or email, we collect your email address and associate it with a user ID in our systems. This helps us to recognize you across different devices and platforms.

6. Paid Subscriptions and Payments

Payments for Orphia subscriptions are processed through Apple, Google, or Stripe. We do not store or process your payment methods. We receive information from these third parties solely to confirm your subscription status.

7. AI-Generated Content & Entertainment Disclaimer

Orphia’s illustrated horoscope is created via a third-party AI service. The personal information (e.g., birth date, location, and photos) you provide is transmitted to our servers and passed to the AI service only as necessary to generate your custom content. This personal information is not stored permanently on our servers after creation of the image; however, the resulting images are stored with metadata (user ID and creation date, but no other personal identifying data).

Please note: The horoscopes and illustrations are generated for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute medical, legal, or professional advice.

8. Data Storage and Retention

We store the final generated images (and, if provided, email addresses) on our servers indefinitely or until you request deletion. Aggregate analytics data may also be retained to improve and maintain our services. To request deletion of your data, please contact us at hi@orphia.app and we will delete your information as requested.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

On our web platform, we use cookies for authentication and analytics. These cookies help us:

• Keep you logged in.
• Collect aggregated usage data for analytics and performance improvements.
• Understand and improve user experience.

We do not share your personal information with third-party advertisers. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; however, some features of Orphia may not function properly without them.

10. International Data Transfers

Orphia is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the United States and choose to use Orphia, please note that your personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We take steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

11. Your Rights and Choices

We take reasonable measures to protect the security of your personal information. However, no transmission of information via the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children’s Privacy

Orphia is not intended for children under 13 or under the minimum age that your local jurisdiction permits the use of this service. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information without verifiable parental consent, we will delete such information.

14. Disclosures for California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a resident of California, you have the right to request information about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. You also have the right to request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions. 15. Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Orphia does not respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals because there is no industry-standard way to recognize or honor them. However, we do not track users across third-party sites. If you enable Global Privacy Control (GPC), it will not materially affect the way we process data, as we already limit our tracking to functionality and analytics.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date above or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of Orphia after any such update indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
